CHASE After School Program
CHASE (Choices Helping Achieve Success Early) program is a unique after school program for kids in 5th – 8th grades that teaches them techniques to resist alcohol, tobacco and other drugs. This is funded through the IN CARES ECHO grant and is offered as a 6 week session during the school year.
Activities include homework time, healthy and fun snacks, age-appropriate lessons, dodge ball and more. For more information contact Shelly Price at [email protected] or (765) 584-YMCA.
There are two specific programs: one designed for 4th and 5th graders and one for Middle School students. The typical schedule is Deerfield and Monroe Central in the early fall, Driver and Northside in late fall, and Willard during the winter.
