Message from CEO

I am honored to be able to serve as your new Executive Director/CEO and join the hard-working team of our Randolph County YMCA. We are committed to being here for you on your journey to build a healthy spirit, mind, and body!

For more than 40 years our Randolph County YMCA has continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of our community. Today, our community is going through unprecedented challenges, and I am enormously proud of how our Y and our entire community has stepped up.

Our mission at the Y is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Our vision is to be the hub of community activity and the recognized leader in life-long health and wellness. Our Y will be a place where children are nurtured, teens are empowered, families grow stronger, and older adults are engaged.

Our Y focuses on four primary character traits – Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility – to strengthen our community through Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. Our Y serves our entire county and is open to everyone. As a nonprofit dedicated to keeping our community healthy, safe, and thriving, your memberships and donations make it possible for us to provide scholarships to community members that may otherwise be unable to use our facility or participate in our programs.

We have all been reminded lately what really matters most – spending time with the people we care about. Our Y is here to help you focus on just that by providing programs and activities for the whole family, as well as physical and virtual spaces for you and your friends to work toward your health goals together. Our Y is not just a building. It is people from all backgrounds and walks of life who come together to improve their lives, nurture their families, and strengthen their community. Together we are a better us!

I look forward to seeing each of you at our Y!

Blessings,
